Carrie Murray Nature Center is dedicated to serving the public city-wide with meaningful, inclusive, and engaging nature-focused programs. 

 

We recognize that the best way to form a connection with the natural world is through immersive and playful experiences in and with nature. Our programs are designed to give participants the time, space, and permission to explore, be curious, and learn!​

Our mission is to be a liaison for people of all ages, colors, and abilities to find joy and value in engaging with nature.

We have a deep connection to Gwynns Falls Leakin Park and the abundant life found on and off the trails! We take joy in introducing people to this vast and diverse forest, rich with history, and full of life.

A caring and thriving community includes humans in close connection with nature. We envision a city where all life is valued, all people have access to clean green spaces, and Gwynns Falls Leakin Park is thriving, full of plants, animals, and people exploring its trails.
